With recent firmware releases and new developments x32 3d printer boards are the new trend in 3D Printer control. These boards have more powerful processing power and operate the machine with more capabilities. We tried to find the most available boards in the market.
The prices are based on USD Retail Prices as of Jan and if the boards were shields we factored in the additional hardware needed. Additional fans and other components can be added to spare pins but we left that out of this comparison.
The firmware for the Duet family of boards is open-source, but most users should not need to modify the firmware itself, only working with settings stored on the internal SD card. Next steps will be to add a pins file for the K and X, work out which timers are available, and so on. It's going to be ugly at first, probably not something you'd immediately want to run. I tried to upgrade the board and bricked it. One new board later, I finally had the same issue few month later still temperature that could not be reached, not enough power bullshit Let me tell you one thing : in my opinion the mosfet is very fragile.

So without anything left to loose, I tried to desolder it but I guess I do not have the proper material for that i have only a soldering station and a desoldering manual pump After few tries, I was able to unsolder the legs of the mosfest from board but the rest of the component still sticked on the board.

Still The ghetto mosfet soldering trick was usefull for me since before that the board did not even managed to heat the hotend AT ALL Actually my hotend is able to reach if the hotend is not cooled but not when the fan is there.
Of course the first thing I did was ensuring that the fan was not cooling the heaterblock. Things improved a bit when reducing the fan speed using resistors but the message still appeared time to time.
